AMG®-enhanced 3.0L V6 biturbo engine

Engineered for maximum power and low fuel consumption, the 2019 C 43’s new AMG®-enhanced 3.0L V6 biturbo engine features two, large turbochargers that deliver quick, spontaneous response, as well as an engine cover with a red aluminum insert and AMG® lettering. The new engine delivers a thrilling 385 horsepower and 384 lb-ft torque from 2,500 – 5,000 rpm. The refreshed AMG® C 43 Sedan sprints from a complete standstill to 60 MPH in under five seconds and maxes out at its electronically limited 130 MPH top speed.

AMG® DYNAMIC SELECT

The 2019 C 43 Sedan’s AMG® SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9-speed transmission was tuned to deliver a dynamic driving experience with the proven DYNAMIC SELECT drive programs. Able to customize the C 43 Sedan’s performance characteristics at the tap of a finger, the drive programs include Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Individual, and Slippery. Each program modifies key performance parameters like the response of the engine, suspension, steering, and transmission. The driving modes can be accessed via the shift paddles on the AMG® steering wheel.

The AMG® SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9-speed transmission features a multiple downshift function for more spontaneous bursts of speed and ignition adjustments for faster gear shifts. The transmission’s Manual driving program can be selected via a button marked “M” on the center console.
