Like many other Mercedes-Benz vehicles, the 2016 S-Class will be available in a lofty seven different trims, not including the three coupe versions. New to the game is the plug-in hybrid S550e and as always an aggressive AMG model is featured at the top end.

The engines that come standard with each of these trims range from a plug-in hybrid V6 to a highway to a titanic V12 that eats highways and scares the elderly.
