Incorrect Seat Belt Position
Starting this month, Mercedes-Benz has begun notifying drivers of safety belt recall. The issue with the safety belts in these 2,600 luxury cars is that the driver and passenger seat belts have been switched. Because the car is so smart, each seat belt is side specific, and may not perform correctly in the result of an accident. This doesn't mean they aren't working, however, it is just a precaution that Mercedes-Benz would like to clear up before something bad has a chance to happen. 2016 S-Class: What is Airscarf?Which Models are Affected?
