2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

The Sprinter is historically one of the most successful van models of all time. Especially in other countries, the Sprinter sells like pancakes, which is what prompted the introduction of the Mercedes-Benz Metris in the United States. Another variation is the Mercedes-Benz V-Class. Could the new Sprinter concept have something to do with that? Perhaps we will finally getting a camping-oriented luxury van in the U.S.! Or maybe it will look more like the modified Metris in the video below.

Sprinter Rumors

Mercedes-Benz has not yet released any information confirming or denying the Sprinter concept. If it was a brand new car, some information would have at least leaked already. This is why we think we might be seeing a new trim level or appearance package for the Sprinter. It may even feature a new engine that will keep up with the Metris.

Mercedes-Benz Truck

In the past, Mercedes-Benz has hinted at making a pickup truck in America. It has since been brushed under the rug, but if Mercedes-Benz were to introduce a new truck, Chicago Auto Show would be the place to do it. The show has roots with passenger and commercial trucks, so we’ll keep our eyes open but we won’t get our hopes up.
